Silkbush Mountain Vineyards is a 140ha vineyard nestled at the foot of the Sybasberg(Silkbush Mountain), towering a majestic 1900m above sea level. The farm was first registered as a loan farm in 1794. It was redeveloped in 2000 after a shared dream by an American grape grower (Dave) and a South African viticulturist (Anton) became reality.

Today, we grow 14 different grape varieties in this unique corner of the Breedekloof.

Unique because the decomposed shale soils speckled with granite and quartz are found only here in combination with North-westerly facing slopes and an altitude of between 450 and 730 meters above sea level.

We are focused on producing top-quality, terroir-specific wines, and the results speak for themselves. Scroll further to learn more about our special wines and the team behind them.

We believe in delivering a summer experience with our selection of distinctive and vibrant wines.
